Public bug reported: Please backport ddrescueview 0.4~alpha2-1 (universe) from wily to trusty, utopic, vivid.
Reason for the backport: ======================== ddrescueview is a new package in wily I believe it would be useful for LTS users Homepage: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ddrescueview/ Description: This small tool allows the user to graphically examine ddrescue's log files in a user friendly GUI application. The Main window displays a block grid with each block's color representing the block types it contains. Many people know this type of view from defragmentation programs. Testing: ======== Mark off items in the checklist [X] as you test them, but please leave the checklist so that backporters can quickly evaluate the state of testing. You can test-build the backport in your PPA with backportpackage: $ backportpackage -u ppa:<lp username>/<ppa name> -s wily -d trusty ddrescueview $ backportpackage -u ppa:<lp username>/<ppa name> -s wily -d utopic ddrescueview $ backportpackage -u ppa:<lp username>/<ppa name> -s wily -d vivid ddrescueview Backported packages available here: https://launchpad.net/~ginggs/+archive/ubuntu/backports * trusty: [X] Package builds with *minor* modification [X] ddrescueview installs cleanly and runs * utopic: [ ] Package builds without modification [ ] ddrescueview installs cleanly and runs * vivid: [X] Package builds without modification [X] ddrescueview installs cleanly and runs No reverse dependencies ** Affects: trusty-backports Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: utopic-backports Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: vivid-backports Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: Please backport ddrescueview 0.4~alpha2-1 (universe) from wily to trusty, utopic, vivid.
