Please backport chkrootkit 0.50-3.2 (universe) from xenial to trusty.
Reason for the backport:
========================
The version of chkrootkit that is currently available within Trusty
(chkrootkit-0.49) reports false positives within the base install of Ubuntu
because of some overly simple tests within the upstream code. However, this
behavior is corrected upstream in chkrootkit-0.50 (which is currently available
in all later major versions of Ubuntu). As the incorrect behavior is explicitly
corrected in chkrootkit-0.50, it does not seem appropriate to correct this
behavior by making an Ubuntu-specific change to chkrootkit-0.49. However, as
this package is both security related and as this update would have a practical
effect more like updating a definition file rather than like adding new major
features, it seems appropriate to make this backport available to 14.04 LTS
even though 16.04 LTS will be available within months.
