obs-studio 30.1 was released but, as obs does with their point releases, includes far too many features to justify a simple SRU bugfix microrelease. Therefore, the most logical way to get a bugfix release like this into users is to backport it. Besides that, the features are very nice-to-have things. See https://obsproject.com/blog/obs-studio-30-1-release-notes-copy for a list of features and bug fixes compared to 30.0. [Scope] * Backport obs-studio 30.1.2+dfsg-1build1 from oracular * Backport to noble [Other Info] obs-studio dependency waits on ppc64el and riscv64 due to missing the proper version of lua libraries on those architectures. This is consistent and already extant on the release version in noble (30.0.2+dfsg-3build1), which means no changes to the lua libraries need to happen. Furthermore, this package builds in https://launchpad.net/~ubuntustudio- ppa/+archive/ubuntu/backports-staging, building against the -proposed and -backports repository with all of the necessary architectures enabled except riscv64 which, as mentioned above, is moot anyhow. I will go ahead and backport future versions as they become available. ** Affects: obs-studio (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium Assignee: Erich Eickmeyer (eeickmeyer) Status: New ** Affects: obs-studio (Ubuntu Noble) Importance: Undecided Status: Invalid ** Affects: obs-studio (Ubuntu Oracular) Importance: Medium Assignee: Erich Eickmeyer (eeickmeyer) Status: New -- [BPO] obs-studio/30.1.2+dfsg-1build1 from oracular https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2072793 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Backporters, which is subscribed to the bug report. -- ubuntu-backports mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-backports
