Update of existing backport in Noble from 30.1.2+dfsg-1build1 to 30.2.3+dfsg-1 [Scope] * Backport obs-studio 30.2.3+dfsg-1 from oracular * Backport to noble [Other info] obs-studio dependency waits on ppc64el and riscv64 due to missing the proper version of lua libraries on those architectures. This is consistent and already extant on the release version in noble (30.0.2+dfsg-3build1), which means no changes to the lua libraries need to happen. Furthermore, this package builds in https://launchpad.net/~ubuntustudio- ppa/+archive/ubuntu/backports-staging, building against the -proposed and -backports repository with all of the necessary architectures enabled except riscv64 which, as mentioned above, is moot anyhow. As stated before, I will backport future versions as they become available. As Dan stated previously, it would be ideal for the lua libraries to be fixed on the ppc64el and riscv64 architectures so that there was no depwait, but I'm afraid we're stuck without a proper backport there. I, for one, don't feel comfortable backporting a whole development library for one application. ** Affects: obs-studio (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Fix Released ** Affects: obs-studio (Ubuntu Noble) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Erich Eickmeyer (eeickmeyer) Status: In Progress ** Affects: obs-studio (Ubuntu Oracular) Importance: Undecided Status: Fix Released -- [BPO] obs-studio/30.2.3+dfsg-1 from oracular https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2077563 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Backporters, which is subscribed to the bug report. -- ubuntu-backports mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-backports
