I'm currently upgrading, a 900 MB upgrade.When I'm done,I might give the DVD a try. When I last checked,The Gutsy DVD was not still out.
But the DVD does not Contain all the packages,and also contains many packages that are never needed.Also by the time the 4 GB download is complete,most of the packages will get updated versions. I think it'd be better if we can backup our APT caches and share them.Most of the packages we need are common,anyways. You might give the alternate installer CD a try,it contains more packages than the live CD.I've got the amd64 alternate version.
