Ubuntu files are like net-knots; due to dependency, often hard to install by
hand. The easiest way is to click on a mp3 file, you'll be prompted to
search required codecs. Activate internet connection (if you've), click
search. Codecs will be auto downloaded and instlled.

If you dont have net connection, collect those files and put into cache
folder under System>Var>Apt
