I'm not sure how ultimate edition goes against Open source movement?! but regardless ... Ultimate edition is a big waste of time, cause the packages are probably much older the the mainstream Ubuntu version, which bound have many bugs and security issues and at the end you'll be force to download updates for all the packages you install blindly.
So if you have enough time and bandwidth to download 2/3 GB iso containing an obscured version, why not spent it on downloading small updates for the latest version?
