Hey Masnun, Please read the following: you typed: mas...@ubuntu:~$ '/media/Masnun/Ubuntu/VLC Player 0.9.9a/install.sh' : which you were not supposed to.... Try typing following: mas...@ubuntu:~$ cd /media/Masnun/Ubuntu/VLC Player 0.9.9a/ mas...@ubunut:~$ ./install.sh
BTW, they are not same. It should fix the problem, if it doesn't then the following problem has occurred: You said you deleted files after installation and that should clear up stuffs..... I have no idea how or where you got this idea from, it does complicate problem... i believe you have removed few of your installed packages... and as they are not removed from your dependencies, they are not getting installed again and result is, your program is not running and giving a lot of errors. I don't know how to clean up this mess... but always REMEMBER, don't delete anything what you installed using dpkg or apt-get (i blv you don't delete stuffs from program files in windows..).... there are dpkg -r pkgname or apt-get remove pkgname command.
