Hello. As you know, I have given out many Ubuntu CD's to my friends.
They may like it, but almost all of them have 2 main problems:
1. Internet Access - They don't know how to change the IP settings
2. Playing Media files - They open an mp3 file, but cannot play it,
naturally, because the codecs are not installed.

What are your suggestions for correcting the above 2 problems? I think
if VLC media player and the ubuntu-restricted-extras package were pre
installed, then the second problem would dissappear. The first would
still remain, though.
