Hello. As you know, I have given out many Ubuntu CD's to my friends. They may like it, but almost all of them have 2 main problems: 1. Internet Access - They don't know how to change the IP settings 2. Playing Media files - They open an mp3 file, but cannot play it, naturally, because the codecs are not installed.
What are your suggestions for correcting the above 2 problems? I think if VLC media player and the ubuntu-restricted-extras package were pre installed, then the second problem would dissappear. The first would still remain, though. -- Saad M Niamatullah -- Ubuntu Bangladesh | http://ubuntu-bd.org [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bd
