@Mohammad Mukhtaruzzaman, Please, don't take anything personally but I found your point of arguments are rather more hypothetical than practical. Just think it for a moment. Have you ever heard about distros named Caixa Mágica, Salix, Zentyle, Nachos, PAIPIX, Hacao or Vyatta? I am sure not only you, more than 95% members of this mailing list, who are already Linux users, are not familiar with these names.
Now how about distros like, Ubuntu, Fedora, Opensuse, Linux Mint, Debian, RetHat or CentOS? Most of the users are familiar with this names and usages. So, how a newbie can be lost on something they are not even concerned about? When I got toothache, I go to a dentist. When I need to sew my old shoes, I find for a cobbler. If I need to go somewhere new, I go to the bus stand and ask the counterman, "I want go 'this place', which bus goes there?" And when a newbie want to try a Linux distro, s/he asks for advice from an existing Linux user. Even if they search in Google for that, it is highly unlikely that s/he ends up with some distro called 'VLOS' or 'UTUTO'. Newbies may feel lost after installing a distro, not when choosing it. --- Shabab Mustafa Liaison Person Ubuntu Bangladesh https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Shabab -- Ubuntu Bangladesh https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bd
