IRC is a very geeky/old solution to the real-time conversation problem. It is really not suitable for non-techie people. I know, it is one of the pre-requisite for a LoCo team, and we have one. This IRC thing is really intended for techie people.
There is a very good alternative to IRC where everyone can enjoy IRC. It's called 'Convore' http://www.convore.com It is a combination of IRC (real-time) and forum. We should open a channel there and start using it. Anyone can use it, see previous post, search it, etc. And yes, geeks are also using it very much. e.g., there is a vim plugin for it! Ubuntu stands for user-friendliness. Convore does provide it. 2011/11/9 Tanvir Rahman <[email protected]>: >> >> IRC কি?
