Bonjour à tous, You can give a try to aTunes which is written in java 6, it run under mac os x if you install the apple beta release of java 6.
It is not heavy but not so fully integrated to the desktop (no tray icon...). I really like the fact that it scan the given repertory every time, and if another program put a new song it won't take a lot of time for the song to appear in the list. I personally use iTunes on osX, and let him organize the songs repertory (and handle my iPod) and I use aTunes on ubuntu. tell me what you thing about aTunes, and what are the other programs which can automatically scan the given songs repertory (I won't use Amarok, I don't have so much space on my disk to install kde library). -- _-Arnaud-_ 2008/4/13 Steven Roose <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > > Hi all, > > i am looking for a good musicplayer for allready a long time. > i want him 1 to be cross-platform 2. not to take much mem/cpu and 3 to > have good music play/stock functions. > > i yesterday tried songbird, but it took tooo many mem because of the > buildin web browser. > > i hope one of you can help me. > > Steven > > -- > ubuntu-be mailing list / mailto:[email protected] > > Modify settings or unsubscribe at: > https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-be > -- ubuntu-be mailing list / mailto:[email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-be
