That's not my point, what I am telling is that we need to promote ubuntu and we want to find more users, it can be small things who make people decide weather or not not to try ubuntu, and the new login screen looks 'cooler' than the old one, so why not? This will probably be the login screen for the next releases as well, they arn't going to change it every upgrade.
