IRC meeting report Present at the IRC meeting 30/09/2009 (in random order) : JanC, schwarz_p, jean7491, yanu, rossemiel, mimor 1. Past and future events a.27/09 Dipro Hasselt - report -- report and pictures are in the wiki It was a successful event for Ubuntu promotion in Hasselt area, the comimtment of 4 new well motivated volunteers has been very positive and we had good contacts with visitors. As in previous fairs, we had contacts with people teaching Ubuntu in their environment. We should develop exchange of information with and support these teachers. For this purpose we need an ad-hoc team with people knowing the education problematic : the team, based on teachers from the Mailing List, should provide support and help to promote Ubuntu in the education. Interested readers should take initiatives. b.
