Hi to all, I need tips about buying a new laptop, as a friend (Leuven - Hasselt) asks me for advice. The laptop will work with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. He told me the following :
> De laptop zal echt gebruikt worden als laptop en niet als pseudo > desktop, op de baan dus. > Er zullen presentaties op gegeven worden, dus een 17" scherm is het > minimum. > Een heel goede batterij is een must. > Extra randapparatuur is niet belangrijk maar wat er dan wel op zit > moet wel goed werken, zonder tijd verlies (geluid, 3D-ondersteuning, > webcam, microfoon, DVD-lezer-schrijver, kaartlezer, ...).
