I got one too ;) (not that I am really bother by this incident)
I've already unsubscribed myself. (I would've wanted to see what exaclty
they were offering but the entire mail didn't contain a single link to
their webpage so I've deleted it right away)

Okay peepz,
I just had a very interesting talk with Eric (the ahemm "spammer").
He told me he sent this mail to no more than 6 persons on the list.
If I counted correctly, all six of us responded in the mailinglist.
He also says he removed all these addresses out of his "list" once the
message was out. This means he doesn't have a secret stash of
high-profile big-profit e-mail addresses that he's going to sell to
viagra vendors and angolan milliardaires.
So Pierre, the fact that you didn't get the mail possibly isn't due to
your spam filter, but due to the selection of Eric.
I suggest we all get off our high horses - all we have is a very
enthusiastic Ubuntero who sent a few of us (who he considered the most
active ones) a mail because he was proud of something he did, and that
we all endorse.
I actually believe him on that.
I hope - agreeing with Wouter - that we can now end this fute and get
back to making crazy plans about creating our own USB-stick, having a
booth on festivals, conquer the world by Ubuntu-based brain implants, etc...
Grtz,
Jurgen.
P.S. Power to the penguin. :)

Dear Ubuntu-friends,
I'm glad to read that my "spam-mail" received you all. It's not my
intention to send you these mails on a weekly basis. However, I thought
this mail was the best way to inform you all about the possibility to be
able to buy a computer or laptop/notebook, without having to pay for
Windows, as our laptops and computers come without any OS pre-installed.
Just like you all I'm a Ubuntero for several years now, and I still find
it horrible to know that even our government doesn't still see the
picture. Lots of schools prefer to spend their money on expensive
licenses for Windows, then to use our free Ubuntu and use their money
for other educational purposes. Anyway, I keep on fighting the system
and hope you all stand beside/behind me. Please feel free to unsubscribe
from my mailing-list, no worries.
Kind regards,
