Dear friends,

On June 30th we meet in the European Parliament Free Software User Group
(EPFSUG) again. We have invited enthusiasts and experts of the LoCo team from
Ubuntu Belgium to learn more about their projects and activities, and to have a
look at Ubuntu's new desktop and netbook environment "Unity". We'll also look
into how to secure email exchange with strong encryption and discuss the latest
developments with regards to the ongoing procurement of Windows 7 in the EU
institutions.

You are all welcome to join.

Best regards,

Indrek Tarand

What is Unity
        Ubuntu and the Unity interface
Wouter Vandenneucker
Unity is a new desktop and netbook environment from Ubuntu which provides a
complete, simple, touch-ready integration of applications and workflow. It
looks a bit like iPad or Android interfaces and is designed for netbooks and
related touch-based devices. It makes it fast and easy to access preferred
applications. Wouter will show how.
