As dicas foram perfeitas! Foi só remover o Nvidia e o vídeo voltou a funcionar!!! Agora ao tentar renomear o arquivo .conf, não achei com esse nome e sim com outro e por isso nao fiz o teste com o arquivo X. Eu tentar usar o instalador do Nvidia apareceu a seguinte mensagem: Fui no site do Nvidia, baixei o arquivo NVIDIA-Linux-x86-340.76.run relacionado à minha placa e ao tentar instalar apareceu uma mensagem de erro, informando que deveria ler o arquivo "nvidia-installer.log" para mais informações. Ao abri-lo tem a seguinte explicação: "installer version: 340.76 PATH: /usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin nvidia-installer command line: ./nvidia-installer Using: nvidia-installer ncurses user interface -> The file '/tmp/.X0-lock' exists and appears to contain the process ID '1349' of a runnning X server. E como meu conhecimento de inglês não é bom, tentei localizar a seção indicada no arquivo sem sucesso. Alguém poderia me ajudar?!
