É mais quando reiniciar terá que digitar novamente.
Pode adicionar sua path em definitivo:
/etc/environment
Ou criar apelidos em seu:
.bachrc
Mas colocando o apelido em .bashrc, acredito que este só funcionará
no terminal do gnome. Não testei no bash "com login". Se puderem
confirmar isto, seria um atalho.
