Maudy Pedrão, Instala o Automatix2 com sudo apt-get install automatix2 abra-o e por ele instale o w32codec. Sugiro que você vá no gerenciador de pacotes synatics (ou mesmo pelo terminal) e remova o pacote se o tiver instalado.
