Não, pode remover o totem, mas tem que ser todo o totem e os seus plugins porque algum deles tá bixado e depois reinstala. O totem de longe não é o melhor tocador para mim, prefiro o mplayer e o xine. De qualquer forma, quando for reinstalar, instale tambem o totem-xine que toca mais formatos que o totem-gstreammer (padrao).
