Estou com um probleminha acontecido depois da atualização que me foi sugerida hj mais cedo.... entre outros componentes, ele me atualizou o kernel para o 2.6.32-25-generic-pae (que utilizo por ter 4GB de RAM instalados). Verifiquei o que está instalado referente ao kernel atual e achei: linux-headers-2.6.32-25 linux-headers-2.6.32-25-generic-pae linux-headers-2.6.32-25-generic linux-image-2.6.32.25-generic linux-image-2.6.32.25-generic-pae Ativei então o driver proprietario por dentro do proprio ubuntu, mas só consigo a resolução de 800x600 (estou em um note Dell Vostro 3500 com uma placa de vídeo Nvidia GeForce 310M de 512MB), quando pelo driver fornecido pelo site alcanço normalmente 1336x768 (medida estimada, puxando pela minha memória). Alguém tem alguma opinião em como resolver isso? O resto das funções do notebook funcionam normalmente, apenas o vídeo que desconfigurou. Minha ideia é instalar o driver do site do fabricante.
