Exato, mano! Funcionou perfeito aqui! Para quem não sabe como adicionar o DNS, edite o arquivo "/etc/resolv.conf" (no terminal: sudo gedit /etc/resolv.conf) e adicione as seguintes linhas ao arquivo (o endereço do DNS público do google):
nameserver 8.8.8.8 nameserver 8.8.4.4 Salve, depois abra o terminal e execute o apt-get update.
