With this bug they just marked it as a duplicate without notifying the reporter why or how. I found out what they did via the activity log. > https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-rss/+bug/164129 It looks to me they have confirmed the bug here but it isn't clear to me why. Anyone? > https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/irssi/+bug/181641/+activity This looks good to me as they fixed the bug. > https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sshmenu/+bug/186109 This looks good to me also. > https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mpd/+bug/181774 This looks good too. I don't have strong opinions either way about approving or disapproving this candidate. They don't seem to have done much traditional bug triaging and seem to be on the path to MOTU. On a more general note, I feel like we need or want triagers in the Bug Control team and that this isn't necessarily people who are becoming MOTUs. Additionally, keep in mind that the Ubuntu development team is a member of the bug control team so people working on becoming MOTUs will have the same ability to set bug priority as the Bug Control team.
