They hadn't been triaging "normal" bugs so some of our evaluation criteria[0], like points 4, 6 and 7 may not apply to these candidates. However, I think there will still be sufficient information to evaluate their work. Subsequently, I think the applicant should apply using the current application process but identify themselves as a prospective MOTU or universe-contributor.
