Ubuntu does not use mailing lists to report bugs, anyway. The Best way to report a new bug is (in order of preference): * run, from a terminal, 'ubuntu-bug <package>', where <package> is the package name; * go to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu, select the "Report a bug" link, and follow the instructions.
