After some quick digging, I believe the command to remove the link is "sudo rm firmware.sh". It would be helpful if the instructions above included that.
The line "Or wait a few hours until the update is available on your mirror." may be misleading. I waited several days without any change. Only following the other instructions above (including removing the link) helped.
