Thanks to the continued bug pattern writing of RedSingularity I discovered an issue with apport and bug patterns today that I wanted to let all of you know about.
The OriginalTitle key was created in bug patterns to allow matching on bug reports that have had their title in Launchpad changed. To find the OriginalTitle the bug description is downloaded and the Title portion of it becomes the OriginalTitle while the bug title in Launchpad is its Title. However, when a bug is being reported by apport there is no title in the bug for Launchpad nor a description and subsequently no OriginalTitle. So while test-local may have matched a bug report with OriginalTitle no bugs being reported would match that pattern. I've gone ahead and fixed all the existing bug patterns by renaming the key OriginalTitle to Title. So please be sure to write bug patterns using the Title key and not OriginalTitle, however OriginalTitle may be useful for testing locally.
