I'm sending this message to ask the bugs #1300991 ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/auto-apt/+bug/1300991) and #1300987 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/auto-apt/+bug/1300987) to be nominated to Trusty, so that the fixes are "backported" to Trusty from the development version (not yet present there, but will be synced from Debian).
