Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver
In 5.10's xscreensaver, there was a checkbox for 'Use actual screenshot
in screensavers'; this is missing entirely from gnome-screensaver's GUI,
and it makes a number of the screensavers (Distort, AntSpotlight,
Mirrorblob, and a large number of others) use the ugly multi-colour
"test pattern" default instead of the user's actual desktop.
Like the butchering of xchat into xchat-gnome, I'm afraid this is
another "Gnome must have a simple UI" attempt gone too far...
** Affects: gnome-screensaver (Ubuntu)
