i386 platform? I can''t reproduce it here.... can you please try to obtain a
backtrace by following the instructions on
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash ?
It will rebuild the entire gdm package, so you'd be better of reinstalling it
from the the repos when you're done with the backtrace. I'm not sure how you
can build just gdmsetup. Thanks again.
