Public bug reported:
what about removing this dir altogether? i know it's there for
historical reasons and whatnot, but i find it plain overkill to have a
dir sitting in the /usr hierarchy with just a couple of files in it. The
only packages I know of in the standard install that store files there
are "bsdmainutils" and "fortune", i've already filed a bug report
against these and invited their maintainers to place the files
elsewhere, a sane location such as /usr/bin should do IMVHO. Regards,
