This bug is bogus, and the "fix" should be reverted. See my thorough explanation in the comments of bug #33096, which is a result of the "fix" submitted for this bug report.
I have confirmed with the DViCO systems engineer that the FusionHDTV DVB-T Plus does in fact use Thomson DTT7579 at i2c address 0x60, and that there is no alternate version of this card using 0x61 .
