Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kcontrol

Steps to reproduce:

1. Run the ubuntulooks gtk theme, or any gtk theme that isn't gtk-qt-engine
2. Open up K-Menu -> System Settings
3. Choose appearance
4. Choose colors
5. Note the color currently chosen for "Selected Text". By default it should be
white.
6. Open a GTK app, open a menu, and mouse over the options. They won't change
color when they're selected.

This makes GTK themes other than gtk-qt-engine look ugly running under
KDE. Reading menu text becomes hard.

** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
