Public bug reported:
at first i thought it might only be a problem with rhythmbox so i tried listen
player and it plays choppy sound as well.
both streamed radio and podcasts are choppy.
also any media that i play from firefox (news clips, songs etc.) are
also choppy.
the players and firefox do everything else fine (play mp3's, cd's,
webpages load at a fine speeds)
usually i would try some things to help narrow it down but i really
don't have any ideas.
