@Junglebz I believe the patch fixes printing for libgnomeprint based applications as far as it can be fixed, many people have confirmed it. Perhaps you have a different issue that is only related to your printer model. You are not being very specific, please help us first by providing more information. What printer model do you have? What application(s) did you try to print from? The patch normally solves several issues, can you give examples of issues you still have (e.g. printer quality set in gnome-cups-manager not respected).
