Binary package hint: wlassistant
I am using the Kubuntu 6.06 CD as a Live CD.
The Wireless card is a PCMCIA SMC2632W, Version 01.02
wlassistant is run from the K-menu, finds wireless networks. I choose my own
net and set the WEP key. But the key is not used (iwconfig eth1 shows no key).
When I set the key with iwconfig eth1 key xxxxxxxxxx, everything works.
