Go to kde-look.org and/or kde-apps.org
Go to one of the projects with a download link, perhaps
http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=39834
Below 'Description' and 'Changelog' is an 'Ubuntu Download' link.
Right-click on link, and click 'Save Link As...'
Window pops up with "download.php" as the default filename (apparently
based on the link and not the ultimate target).
Compare with clicking on the link directly and downloading the file,
which is opened with the appropriate filename (In Kate as a text file,
apparently due to the site's mis-mimetyping of the download as a text
download-- confusion from php script? see [rejected] bug# 50043).
