I have a similar problem: after resuming from standby mode, scrolling using touchpad borders does not work. If I start another X session, and then get back to mine using ctrl+alt+f7, it works again so this seems a problem in initialization of the driver. Moreover, if I enable switching to console before suspending (DOUBLE_CONSOLE_SWITCH=true in /etc/default /acpi-support) it works correctly (so this is _the_ workaround).
Can anyone check if these workarounds also solve their problems? I suspect that making "DOUBLE_CONSOLE_SWITCH" the default option would be safer for most ubuntu installations. -- Touchpad doesn't tap-to-click anymore after suspend https://launchpad.net/bugs/18605 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
