Public bug reported:

Having downloaded the latest Dapper image for sparc64, I am unable to
finish (or start) the install.

The CD boots om my Ultra 10, I then select, "Install" at the boot
prompt, some normal looking text scrolls up the screen, until "Booting
Linux" appears. The system then appears to hang, and can only be
rescued with a hard reboot.

I have succesfully installed Aurora, Gentoo and Sarge, so know that this
is not a general linux problem. Although, I have exactly the same
problem with Etch.

I burned my media as slowly as I could (x4), just in-case the CD drive
was struggling.

I am unable to test the netboot install.

Many thanks, hope this helps.

Chris.
