If you install Breezy and then upgrade to Dapper, it will get latest
kernel. If you don't have linux-386, then you've removed it.
dist-upgrades installs new packages, but there was no newer
linux-image-2.6.12* package in Dapper. There where only
linux-image-2.6.15*. But, there was newer linux-386 and linux-686,
which depend on linux-image-2.6.15*.
