If you install Breezy and then upgrade to Dapper, it will get latest kernel. If you don't have linux-386, then you've removed it. dist-upgrades installs new packages, but there was no newer linux-image-2.6.12* package in Dapper. There where only linux-image-2.6.15*. But, there was newer linux-386 and linux-686, which depend on linux-image-2.6.15*. -- Ante Karamatic | 0xD3BDA225 | 0x0A4A0161 [EMAIL PROTECTED] | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | ivoks.blogspot.com "Tomorrow is my day off, so please stay off the powder!" -- Samsung ML1740 Printer not recognized in Dapper https://launchpad.net/bugs/49802 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
