Yesterday I experienced the same problem (progress bar stopped at 50%). I unplugged my "all-in-one" card reader and it helped (this is a "no- name" USB reader adding 7 drives for different card formats: CF, MC, SD etc.). After installing the system I plugged the reader in again and it worked. Btw. I have installed Breezer on the same PC without such problem.
