Public bug reported:

Using sun-java 1.5.0-06-1 in firefox 1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.4-0ubuntu6.06

1. Open a page containing a java applet showing text such as
http://javatester.org/version.html. (The problem seems to occur when the applet
shows text - this may just be a coincidence
2. Open Gnome Font Preference and change resolution (say from 96 to 80 dpi).
You may need to do this numerous times and also scroll firefox.
3. Eventually firefox will crash with a seg fault

error is

$ firefox

(Gecko:6821): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_colormap_get_screen: assertion
`GDK_IS_COLORMAP (cmap)' failed

(Gecko:6821): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_style_realize: assertion
`GDK_IS_COLORMAP (colormap)' failed

(Gecko:6821): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_colormap_query_color: assertion
`GDK_IS_COLORMAP (colormap)' failed
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

gdb -c core and backtrace shows

Core was generated by `/usr/lib/firefox/firefox-bin -a firefox'.
Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.
