Public bug reported:
Running xemacs21 (21.4.17-2ubuntu1), I'm unable to reliably cut and paste with
the keyboard. This is driving me crazy.
If I select something (C-@) and cut it (C-w), it disappears all right.
When I then yank it back (C-y), I get this error:
Selection conversion error: "selection owner couldn't convert",
CLIPBOARD, STRING
I have to undo to get my selection back. If I undo, cut again, and
paste a second time, it works.
I think the basic problem here is that XEmacs isn't handling having
windows open on two displays properly. I have two frames open - one on
:0.0 and one on :0.1. Cut and paste breaks the first time every time I
switch between the windows, and then works a bit as long as I stay in
one of them.
