I'm also using evolution 2.6.1 on fully updated Dapper 6.0.6. When I view a piece of mail in evolution and right-click and bring up the menu item on the senders email address, choosing 'add to address book', the name does not appear in my personal contacts list (the only contact list that I have). If I perform the action again, I get a warning dialog that the address already exists (but is still not visible). If I close evolution and re-open, the contact appears in my personal contacts list, but I cannot select that contact when composing a new mail message (after pressing the new button) until I select the contact in the contact list and right-click selecting 'copy to address book' or 'move to address book'.
This may be a different bug, but thought I'd add a comment on this bug to start with as some of the behavior is similar. -- Can't use the "To" button in Compose Message to look up contacts https://launchpad.net/bugs/47329 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
