Subject: scribus: definition of object-sizes do not work anymore
Package: scribus
Version: 1.2.4.1.dfsg-1ubuntu4
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Hi !

The new release provided with dapper seems to have a broked
object-size-dialog.
(the old release provided with dapper did not have this problem).

How to reproduce this bug:
1. Start scribus
2. Create a new document (File->New)
3. Create a new object, i.e. a text-area, a picture-area
4. Right-klick the object and select the menu item
  "Show properties"
5. Select the X,Y,Z submenu
6. I you now try to change the values of "width" or "heigth" it is not
  possible to enter something useful.
(the same problem occurs if you try to use the arrows to modify the
   values)

This problems seems to be depended to the settings of the
language-environment
If you start scribus with "LANG=C scribus" the problem doesn`t
appear anymore.

Thanks for maintaining this cool peace of software.
