No it's not. Modem users or beta tester do not always want to install
all updates at the same time. So we are only talking about temporarly
disabling updates. I plan to add a check/uncheck all function in a
context menu. But I won't place any additional buttons in the main
window for this rare use case.
If you don't want updates disable them in the software properites. Most
packages are not self contained and need dependencies. So you will
perhaps install the skipped version if it is required by a not yet
installed app that is installed from the updates repo.
Please try to give more specific use cases in the future. I can imagine
of a lot of scenarios that could arise. If we would add a feature to
handle each of them the update-manager user interface would be very
cluttered.
