Public bug reported:

After the upgrades around 13-16 June, 2006, menu shortcuts in gtk2 apps
are displayed in an unusual way. For example, the shortcut to Edit > Cut
would be displayed as "keyboard label|Ctrl+X" instead of "Ctrl+X".

>From my observation, this problem only exists in gtk2 apps such as
gedit, GIMP, and Evolution. Non-gtk2 apps such as Firefox, Audacity, and
OpenOffice.org does not have this problem.

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
