Public bug reported:

I have a problem with this cheap PS/2 Trust optical mouse. It doens't get
recognized by linux, as far as I can tell. When I turn the pc on, the optical
camera light is on. After a while, during the system boot, it gets turned off.
If I unplug it and plug it again (which isn't a very good thing on a PS/2 port,
I know) the light turns on again for a couple of second, then turns off again.

The pc is an old laptop, with touchpad. The touchpad works with no
problem. The same mouse works under windows, so I guess the ps/2 port is
ok.

Please let me know if I may post any log file or anything in order to
help solve this bug.
