Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
I still haven't quite found the exact pattern, but I often have to
restart the gnome-power-manager applet because it either just died or
just failed to re-appear after a logout/reboot.
Setup is:
Dapper with default kernel
Dell D600 laptop w/ Pentium-M 1.6 GHz (Banias), 1 GB RAM
** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu)
Importance: Untriaged
Status: Unconfirmed
